> Policy for work laptops and work phones — how they are issued, managed, secured, and what is and isn't allowed.

This page describes how we handle work devices at Snel Parts: laptops, work phones, and other devices. Our work devices and network infrastructure are managed and secured centrally by **Ramon**.

## Computer assignment

Every new employee at Snel Parts receives a work laptop if their work calls for it. Ramon takes care of:

- applying a standard configuration to each device;
- installing essential apps;
- keeping security updates current;
- the ability to remotely wipe devices if lost or when an employee leaves the company.

> [!NOTE]
> Your laptop is **never** monitored or tracked. The configuration above is for
> system management and security, not for surveillance.

## Access to company data and confidential information

Company devices give you access to sensitive systems, such as our internal databases and passwords. For that reason, the following may **only happen on a managed work device**, not on your personal devices:

- logging into company accounts;
- viewing codes and (customer) data coming from Snel Parts;
- storing confidential data, such as passwords.

Do not keep personal data on your work laptop. We recommend using a separate, personal computer for private purposes. The company reserves the right to seize your work laptop or the data on it at any time if necessary.

## Mobile devices

If your work requires a mobile phone, you will receive an iPhone from us. The same rules apply to these work phones as to the work laptops.
