This page describes how accounts and access to systems are arranged at Snel Parts.

## Access on your first day

When you start, Ramon makes sure you get access to the systems and software you need for your role. Your work laptop will already have the standard configuration and essential apps installed — see [Work devices](https://handboek.snelparts.com/en/work-devices.md).

## Requesting access to a new system

Do you need access to a system you can't yet reach for a task? Request it from Ramon. Mention which system it is and what you need it for, so the right access level can be set up.

## Shared logins

General logins for the software we use are kept centrally in the **Snel Parts Wiki in Notion**, on the _Login Codes and Passwords_ page. Ask Ramon for access if you need these for your work.

> [!NOTE]
> Only store company passwords and logins on a managed work device — never on a
> personal device or in a loose document. Do not share logins outside the team.

## Passwords

Use strong, unique passwords for company accounts and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) wherever possible. Do not reuse personal passwords for work accounts.

## When someone leaves

When a colleague leaves the company, their accounts and access rights are revoked and the work device is returned. Ramon handles deactivating accounts and, if needed, remotely wiping the device.
